Hi all,

I've been working in a template that calculates the Sharpe Ratio using solver. Please find below the link.

Portfolio Template.xlsm

For automating the solver calculation, after the successful first calculation, I saved the solver parameters in the orange highlighted cells in the file - Portfolio tab.

After I try to load those parameters, I got a run-time error 438: Object doesn't support this property or method. So it is not possible for me to run a macro that automates the process if I change the parameters in yellow.

What could be wrong? I tried to repair excel online and it didn't worked either.

Thanks.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Thank you for sharing GWteB.

I tried to follow the methods descibed. It doesn´t work for me
