save as... macro (file name)

hello.

i have a worksheet. i have a macro that does a lot of work for me. but i need one (hopefully last) thing to make it perfect. i need to save file in the specific location (always the same) under unique name which is stored in cell A2 (it's a telephone number).

any ideas?

are u looking for this:

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs ("C:\" + Trim(Range("A2")))

hope i understood u correctly

that's almost perfect!

the only thing is, the source file is .csv and i need to have it saved as .xls.

is is possible?
