Does anyone know if it is possible to save a section of excel (in this example FD8:FF57) to a CSV file format ??

Cheers

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Why not just copy the section to a blank worksheet and save that as a CSV?

I ideally want to automate this as it will not be me doing it, it will be various people who are not very computer savvy, I wanted to create a macro for this purpose

I do exactly this via macro all the time. The Macro Recorder can give you the code you need. I usually open a new workbook and give it a name like "DeleteMe.xls", then copy my data to it, save as my CSV, then close it.

Attach the macro to a button, and the user never has to know what is going on behind the scenes!
