Hi, I am totally new to excel. I run a holiday club for children. We are soon going to issue PVC cards with a barcode on it to children. we have a excel database with all the children details including barcode and id number. what I am now needing to setup a new worksheet which I can scan the barcode in A2 and find the childs name in B2 and have a time IN stamp in C2. when at the end of the day we will scan their barcodes as they leave and D2 we want another time stamp. the children will not be signed out in order as they signed in the morning so will need a way of excel automatically locating the child and updating the time stamps. Please help, I am very new to this and this club we run is on a voluntarily basis and can not afford £1000s to but the professional system. Thanks.
