for my company I'm making a user form to make things easier for my colleague's.
now i have create a userform to make several word documents and store them in a excel database

but now I want to search in a exist database and show the results of the search in a listbox in the workbook I have create.
so how can we achieve that

I want to search trough the database on three terms but not necessary to fill in al the 3 terms.
I search for doorcilinders and the terms I want to search are Cilindername, building and roomnumber

so I create a userform with 3 textboxes and a search button and below that a listbox to show the results

but which codes I need to let the button really search for the ask features in the boxes in the other workbook.

I understand that the other work book has to be opened so if the code also can do that in the background, because its not an option that everybody can enter the exist database but just can get some information out of it.

greetings
Rieko
