Hi Experts,
Excel version: Professional Plus 2016
I thought searching for particular font is easy as to click on the Format and let excel choose the format or I find the format and ask excel to search.
but no, I have stuff copied from site to do some analysis. It has two columns, first is Type and and second is category but a few categories got in the category list.

The categories are in the font: Calibri Light (Heading) and others are Calibri Body.

The search for Calibri Light Heading does says nothing found. I have ensured, I do not select Font Style and Size as per the format type I find and I also used choose format from cell
Option to select (Unfortunately, they are hyperlinks and I have another question why remove hyperlinks doesn't remove them, may be separate question).

Any help would be appreciated.

Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Hi,

Try this:
  1. start a search by clicking "Find & Select" or shortcut Ctrl-F (a window will open)
  2. enter an asterisk (wildcard) into "Find what"
  3. click on the Format button ( a new window will open)
  4. select the font tab
  5. on the font tab select the font you're looking for
  6. confirm the font with OK (window will close)
  7. confirm the find with either "Find Next" or "Find all"
Hope this helps

Hi Jorismoerings,
I did that, I could get only the first field in search, and no matter how many times I clean started the above process, excel said no matches found. When 3rd line has the format, I am searching. It is probably to do with the application data copied. I would usually trust "Remove Hyperlinks" to clean up for me but this made me realize, that is not the case. Anyway, I used workarounds esp used Power Query and transformations.
