Seeking Matches

Accountant's question here. If I'm seeking a particular number from a column of many various numbers, I simply use the Find part of the 'Find & Replace' feature. For example, if I'm trying to find where $125.46 is in a column I will type it into the "Find what:" cell in the tool.

However, in some instances the $ amount will be split into two or more component amounts. For example, if I'm trying to match the $125.46, it may in fact be split into $100.00 in one cell and $25.46 in another.

Is there a way to seek combinations of numbers that when added together equal the amount in question (i.e. $125.46)?

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
