I keep track of the Pick 3 lottery numbers. Have a workbook with two sheets:
The Pick 3 sheet has all 1000 numbers in Column A sorted by date with the most current on top. (Drawings are held twice a day - D for midday and N for evening.)
The Vlookup function works great to find the last date the number was drawn.
Trying to figure out a much quicker way a way to:
Find the most current drawing of the numbers in the Last 10 sheet (Column A).
Select the next 10 cells under the most current number from Column A in the Pick 3 sheet.
Copy them with a paste special, transpose option into the Last 10 sheet in columns B thru K.
Find the 2nd most current drawing of the numbers in the Last 10 sheet (Column A).
Select the next 10 cells under the 2nd most current numbers from Column A in the Pick3 sheet.
Copy them with a paste special, transpose option into into the Last 10 sheet columns M thru V.
Please see example at http://gozips.uakron.edu/~evert/Last10.xlsx
Thanks!
