Select Range from ActiveCell to Row Whatever

Hi. I'm having trouble combining the activecell with a static reference.

I want to select all rows from current row with the active cell to row 6,000.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Range(Activecell, cells(6000, activecell.column)).select
