My apologies if I'm using the term "Focus" inappropriately.

I recall a way that there was a means in which a cell could be selected on a protected worksheet that was off the field of view in which the the focus didn't change to that cell.
For instance. if I want the keep cell A1 always in view, but sent the selection box off screen to say unlocked cell DA1, how would I do that? If I use select, the worksheet moves to that cell.

Hi Candyman, thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately that wasn't what I was looking for.

This is what I was looking for ...
VBA Code:
Sub RemoveCellSelectionBox()
  Application.ScreenUpdating = False
  Dim CurrentColumn As Long

  CurrentColumn = ActiveWindow.ScrollColumn
  ws_form.Range("DA1").Select
  ActiveWindow.ScrollColumn = CurrentColumn

  Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
