Selecting a column with a declared variable

Dim c1 As String
c1 = column1.Value (lets say column1.Value = B)
Columns("c1:c1").Select <----- bug happens here


;) Please help me!
 

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().

Cells(1, c1).Select
Range(ActiveCell, ActiveCell.Offset(50, 0)).Select <--- i added this to select the column
