Hello,
I am using Microsoft Excel for Macs 2011.
In a single spreadsheet I have 2 columns that each contain 25,000 rows of unique data. Some of the data entered into the cells of these two columns are the same. I would like to generate a list of values that are the same between the 2 columns (ie. a list of values shared between both columns). Because the columns are so long, I have used conditional formatting to identify these duplicate cells:
1. Highlight the two columns
2. Click on Conditional Formatting
3. Click on Highlight Cells Rules, Duplicate Values
4. Choose "Format only duplicate values"
This works, and all of the duplicates between the columns are highlighted in pink.
Where I am having difficulty is now selecting ONLY these pink-filled cells (in order to copy and paste them into a new list).
Is there a module of some sort to highlight only the cells that have been colour filled by conditional formatting?
THank you in advance
