Hello all,

The user should be able to select all cells on the sheet.
However in order to run a certain macro properly the user should select a range from column C till N.
I'd like to macro to check if the range is from C till N, not more and not less, before it continues.

Any ideas?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Maybe ...
Code:
    If Intersect(Selection, Columns("C:N")).Cells.Count <> Selection.Cells.Count Then
        MsgBox "Bad boy!"
        Exit Sub
    End If

One thing though shg, it works when a range greater than C:N is selected, but does not when a range smaller than C:N is selected [i.e. C:K]
