I have a 3D chart with 5 non-sequential variables on the Y axis and 12 non-sequential variables on the X axis.

Is it possible in Excel 2010 to selectively re-order the X axis series display (i.e send variable X1 to position X12; X6 to position X2, etc.) without reordering the underlying data range table?

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Yes you can do this.

First off, most people do not like 3D charts as they do not represent the data in a way that most people can use to interpret the data. You may want to research this on the web.

That being said, you can selectively change the graph however you would like.

You would want to leave your data alone and then create a new set of control data that refers to the data that you want for your chart. you may want to use pick lists to pick your ranges as you need them, perhaps using an offset formula. Then create your chart to look at the picked data.

If you have sample data, that is the best way we can help build your chart.

You can post your file at www.4shared.com

Steve,

Thanks for responding. I'm choosing to shuffle my input matrices to solve the display issue - which requires and XxYxZ display.
