I'm trying to get my Excel based app to email me from a remote machine.

I've tried the CDO code I've found around, but to no avail.

Anyone have a fix for this? The big problem is that the remote machine does not have excel and the emailing is to be autonomic -- that is, without the user's input.

Thank you in advance, hacks and gurus.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
well, lo and behold, it did work after all. WOW!

But what if the remote machine disables CDO? Is there a way to send mail w/out Outlook from the remote machine using my SMTP address?

A tad out of my element here...sort of wish I knew what I was doing with this.

Pretty intense stuff, all the same.
