Hola,
I am creating a database that registers new story ideas for a newspaper.
When a story idea is added to a table in the database (tbl Articles), the email address of the reporter assigned to write the story are input into the field ReporterEmail. At the end of a brainstorm session I want to send the story ideas to the reporters via email from the database.
I have read various postings that provide code for sending emails from an access.
My question is, where does the code get input? In a module? In the SQL view of a query? I'm not sure.
When a solution is found, I would also like to have a Yes/No field in my table checked to Yes when the record has been emailed, and for this check to prevent the record being emailed again. Can you provide a few clues?
I am using Access 2000 and Outlook 2002.
Thank you very much.
