SendInput to Child Windows

I am using sendinput to send keystrokes to a program. But I am also clicking a button in this program (using the enter key) that brings up another window on top of it. I need to click two buttons on this window. How can I do this? It doesn't seem like this window is getting my inputs. Thanks!
