Ok, so I posted a question yesterday about how to import data from a bunch of files placed in a folder location. Ive managed to sort this and can import all the data I want.

Column A has been left blank purposely to create a unique ID for each row of data.

What VBA code can I add to my import macro, so when the data is imported into the workbook, it checks what the last id was in column A and increments to the next number (e.g. there are 10 rows, and row 10 has an id of 10, so next import should be 11)

TIA grabrail

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Hi,
You probably have a variable for the last row ...
You could test
VBA Code:
="your_Text "&ROW()
