i'm trying to declare first two variables but it's showing up as error and font is in red:

Code:
Public Declare Function SetTimer Lib "user32" ( _
    ByVal HWnd As Long, _
    ByVal nIDEvent As Long, _
    ByVal uElapse As Long, _
ByVal lpTimerFunc As Long) As Long

Public Declare Function KillTimer Lib "user32" ( _
    ByVal HWnd As Long, _
ByVal nIDEvent As Long) As Long

and yea thanks to: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/OnTime.aspx
because first one works...just trying to explore using windows timer

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Declare what two variables? The function declarations are fine -- they have to appear at the top of a code modules, right after any Option statements.
