Hello there, is it possible to set the background colour of a text frame?
For example, this is a shape I have set the font colour for.
VBA Code:
.Shapes("Status").TextFrame.Characters.Font.Color = RGB(146, 208, 80)

I specifically want to be able to do this within the VBA, because I want it to be a specific colour according to variables.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Something like this maybe?
VBA Code:
.Shapes("Status").Fill.ForeColor.RGB = RGB(146, 208, 80)

Solution
Thank you. I tried so many combinations and was close, if I had removed "TextFrame" it would have worked.

The way I found out a long time ago, was by recording a macro and making the changes then looking at the code.
Glad I could help
