SharePoint column - reference Excel cell

Hey all,

Is it possible display a value in a SharePoint column based on a reference to a specific cell in an excel workbook?

Basically, I have a list of excel documents stored on SharePoint and would like a column to display the contents of a specific cell for each of those excel docs.
