I'm trying to send an email, along with a link to the active excel workbook to a list of recipients.

The link/URL to the active excel workbook is giving me all sorts of problems:

* The URL returns a "file not found" error for some users, while others it works perfectly
**** Users have same permissions
**** Possibly related to users log in status to sharepoint?

* The file downloads, rather than opens on the sharepoint server.
**** I want them to make changes and save it on the server, not a copy they download

* The file opens in web view, rather than through the app.
**** The workbook has macros that need to run, and that can't happen outside of the app..

https://test.sharepoint.com/teams/operations/ENG/RPTProcess/RPT Improvements/New RPT Template.xlsm?web=1

This one seems to work for everyone... but it opens in web view... if i change to ?web=0... it downloads the file rather than open it on the server.

Downloads the file rather than opens

Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
