Hello World,

I have an excel workbook with the sheets locked for editing to share with a large number of people. My excel cells have more text than is visible and you have to double click the cell to read it all. With the sheet locked however you cannot double click to see all text. Is there away around this?

I have Windows 10 and am using Excel MSO 2016.

Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
If you want some cells to be editable whilst remained being locked, then you could the this:
1) Select the cells you want to be unlocked
2) Right-click
3) Go to: Format Cells -> Protection tab -> Uncheck "Locked"
Now you can protect your sheet.
