short cut key for Quick launch bar in Windows XP

Hello,

Does anyone know how to open items on the quick launch using shortcut keys? I did some research and found where it says to hold down the "windows" key and then press a number "1", "2", etc. However, I tried that and it does not work. Any ideas?

Try using the 'Alt' key.

As far as I'm aware, you can only do this in XP using a third party program.

You can, IIRC, use Ctrl+Win+Tab to move focus there, then use left and right arrow keys.

Derek has the right solution (using Alt). Just wanted to note that this doesn't work when using the numpad, regardless of numlock status.

Depends if you are talking about the QAT in Excel, or the Quick Launch toolbar in WinXP...
