What is the shortcut to extend range

so say i wanted f9:f9 or f8:f8

how can i do this by selecting a cell say f8 and then have the shortcut for extending range to f8:f8?

I knew it previously but have forgotten what it is

Thank You

Good morning,

Here are some examples of selecting a range based on the current selection.

Code:
Sub OffsetRange()
    Selection.Offset(5, 5).Select
End Sub

Sub ExtendRange()
    Selection.Resize(5, 5).Select
End Sub

Sub OffsetAndExtendRange()
    Selection.Offset(2, 2).Resize(5, 5).Select
End Sub

Isn't F8:F8 the same as F8? In a formula you would press the colon [:].

I'm not sure what you mean? F8:F8 is one cell.

If you're entering a formula and you select F8 and then press the : key, the F8 reference will convert to F8:F8 if that's what you are referring to?

Hi ALL

Thank you

Ignore me...i was manually entering F8. What i was after is selecting the cell and then thecolon to show f8:f8 rather than typing in f8:f8.

Me having a sloppy moment AGAIN - thank you all
