What is the shortest way to copy visible cells only? Not vba? :)

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Select the range, press F5, click Special, tick Visible cells, click OK. Then copy.

  1. Highlight the range you want to find the visible cells in
  2. Press CTRL+G to load up the Go To Window
  3. Click Special
  4. Tick "Visible Cells Only"
  5. Press OK
The above method will select all visible cells. Then just copy/paste as normal
