Does anyone know the shortcuts for filters in MS Excel 2007?

  1. Applying a filter
  2. Clearing filter or getting it back to where the filter is available but no data is filtered.
  3. Selecting a drop down arrow
  4. anything nice that I am not thinking of??

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
You can use the old Excel menu shortcuts:
  1. ALT+D then F then F
  2. ALT+D then F then S
  3. ALT+ Down Arrow

Awesome that worked for removing the filtered items - but when I reapplied the filter the arrows were visible, but I couldn't select anything.

1. Select a heading cell

2. Alt+Down arrow (as Jon suggested) then down arrow till you get to the items and use the Space bar to select/deselect items.

If you wanted one of the 'special' filters (eg Filter by colour) then when you get to that item use right arrow then down again etc
