If the current wb exists in the path c:\Folder1\Folder2\Folder3 and I write a formula that references a different file in the same path, is there a way to reference the path as "same" or "current" instead of writing it all out?
Just reference the filename, or point and click to the reference. Once the referenced file is closed out, you'll see the full path appear. Caveat -- this can cause some formulas to max out on length...
