Show formulas when workbook opened

I am trying to have my workbook open with the formulas displayed. I have each formula shown by using the control + ~ but whenever I save it and then close and reopen it, the formulas are replaced by values. This is in MS Excel 2010.

Go to File -> Options -> Advanced -> Display options for this worksheet: -> select Show Formulas in cells instead of their calculated results
