I wonder if i can show numbers at multiple of thousand. i.e:

$1,562,500.242 I'd like to show it @ thousand multiple as follows:

$1,562.500.

Thanks Andrew! But check this out:

This number 123,525.15 was divided by 1000 (123.53), the same number, however, I used your format and was (123.525). When both numbers subtracted we get: 123,401.62485! I should get Zero, right! So how can we fix this issue?

Formatting only affects the appearance of what's in a cell, not what it contains. So either divide both numbers by 1,000 or neither.
