I have a sheet like below, I need to be able to see which cell contain the most recent date.
A B
1 12/12/2019 01/01/2008 true
2 05/12/2018 02/03/2009 true
3 09/03/2009 09/12/2020 false
I've tried using the =if(a2>b2),true)
but, in my excel sheet I am getting mixed results. My exported excel sheet works for some cells - but when I look at it more closely, its saying (for example) False for row 1, then if I click in the cell A1, it automatically alters the formula to show true (as it should).
I've tried selecting the full column to format it to date - but its not working.
1, is there a better way to find the most recent date (comparing two dates) ideally a formula?
Thank you in advance,
