Shutting Down

Hi there. I am trying to write a macro that when you click a button the application saves and closes down.

I cant seem to get anywhere with it.

Grateful for some help and where I would put the VB coding in the spreadsheet

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.

If you are placing buttons on the worksheet using the forms toolbar or the drawing toolbar then you can simply right click on the button and go Assign Macro.

if you have a button on your sheet, right click it and select "assign macro"
from the box that appears select the macro called test. Then when you click on the button in the future, the macro will run
