"+"-sign infront of Pivot filter when using data from the "data model"

Hi,
is there a way to get rid of the annoying "+" sign inform of the filter topics? When using data from Excel sheet they are not visible but when adding data to "Data model" they are all the time visible. Please see screentshot below
In the example to the left the data is from the excel sheet (not added to data model) and to the right the data is added to the "data model" and here you see the "+" signs. Any workaround for this?

Hi, I believe you are not using a Date table.

In the data model add a new Date Table. Then on your pivot use the date dimensions from this new table. Do not forget to make the relationship between both tables on the correct date column.

Hi,
thank you for valuable comments but the same"+" signs goes for any kind of filter - TEXT, NUMBER or DATES - when I click on them they dissapear - but are again there when doing new filtering. Really annoying and frustrating.. argh
