I am looking for a simple excel BOM explosion file. I have looked and I dont seem to get what I am looking for. I dont want anything in VBA but I have the material on hand plus what I will have in the future but I am looking for a template that I can drop the material I need and the qty's, does anyone have a simple one I can look at?
Thanks,
Mike

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hello Toolfreak.
I think you will have to provide more information for someone to assist you.
  • BOM = Bill of Materials?
  • BOM Explosion = ?? (I don't even want to Google this b/c I don't want to end up on an undesired list!)
  • Can you give an example of the "before" data and the "after" data? ex: screen shots / sample data of the starting point and of the desired ending point.
  • Is there a reason that you do not want a VBA solution?

The version of Excel it is to work with would also be helpful along with the above.
