simple pivot questions

Savin Yellow

I have above simple data set which I want to set in a simple pivit table to look exactly as the table itself , but i am getting this :

Sum of Value Column Labels
Row Labels Colour Grand Total
Devdass 0 0
Savin 0 0
Grand Total 0 0

what should I do to get Green ,Yellow instead of the zeros

Are you trying to count how many times a colour is given to a person? If so you need to put the colour in both the column and the data section.
