How can I get lengthy formula to show on the screen at once. Can it be wrapped so that it appears on 2 or more lines. I have tried placing an underscore and carriage return, but sometimes get an error message. Are there only limited places where this can be used?

Say I have a SumProduct(($a$2:$A$500<>"")*($B$2:$B$500=1)*(.etc..)).

Where can I place a carriage return and how??

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
No, I don't think you can place carriage returns in formulas.
Note that if highlight the cell with the formula, go up to the Formula bar and hit the double-down arrow on the right, it should show the formula in its entirety.

You can put a carriage return into your formula by using ALT+Enter.

=SUMPRODUCT(($A$2:$A$500<>"")ALT+ENTER and then the rest of your formula...

How about that! I knew you could do that with text, but I never knew you could do that with a formula (I probably should have tried that).
