I have data on multiple spreadsheets that I am trying to pull from all of them to create one some on a seperate spreadsheet.

Once I get one cell calculating from the other sheets I wanted to drag the function down to the other cells however it is not dragging.

How can I get this formula dragged down to the other cells and it pull the correct data without pulling the same formula duplicating in the other cells, need the numbers to update.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Look to the bottom left of the screen, does it say "Calculate"? If so, press F9, does that solve it?

If so, you have calculation set to manual, to change it, on Excel 2007, look on the Formulas ribbon for Calculation Options and set to Automatic. That should solve it.

Why does this happen? The default state for Calculation is Manual. If you set it to Automatic and open a file that was created in Manual, Excel resets to Manual. Annoying but it caught out a number of colleagues before we spotted it.

If that isn't it, can you please post the formula.

When you created the links did you get $ in front of the Row / Col reference? EG: $A$1

If so then they need to be removed as the referencing only that cell, this is known as an Absoloute refence to a specific cell (or col/row if only one is present) - Normally clicking cells to link them creates a relative reference (A1) but in other workbooks it works differently :)

Other than that your going to need to post back with more info...
