I have a simple checkbook balance worksheet with 4 columns. Data will start being entered in row 4, column A (A,B,C, D and E). Column A is Date, column B is Description, column C is Category, column D is Credit column E is Debit. I also have a userform with seperate labels and a textbox for each of those in the order, with an add button and a close button. I already have the close button working but I am new to this and need help linking my data into those cells. Data will need to start at row 4, next entry in row 5, next in row 6 an so on. thanks for any help you could give me. let me know if you need more information.

Using excel 2007, windows 7 if that matters

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

thanks that worked perfectly after I made a few changes to the code..

one other question.. i have a macro i create that adds a new line (color and boarder(s) to my expense sheet everytime a button is pressed i created. I there a way to make that line add (macro run) everytime i press the button on the user form.

Or if there is a way to create a new button to run the macro and bring up the user form.
