Hi, I have written my first runtime error handler. How do I simulate a runtime error so that I can see that my message box comes up.

cheers

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
see the help for error statement, which does exactly that (i.e. simulates an error):

On Error Resume Next ' Defer error handling.
Error 11 ' Simulate the "Division by zero" error.
