Slicers from different tables won't update all the fields in Pivot Table

Apologize if some of my terminology is a bit off, I can clarify if anything is confusing.

I have 3 different tables in PowerPivot, Table A, B, and C.

In the relationships, A is linked to B via ObjectID, and A is linked to C via ObjectID

I created a pivot table, that has fields from all 3 tables, A, B, and C.

Now I am creating slicers for the PivotTable, and it has slicers from Table A, B, and C.

When I use the slicer from Table A, every single field in the pivot table updates.

When I use the slicer from Table B, only the fields pulled from Table B update, the others stay the same.

The same thing happens with Table C.

Anyone have a clue on what's going on, and how I can make the slicers slice for every field?

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

Relationships have a direction - that is what the arrow is all about. There is quite a bit to learn with Power Pivot, but it IS worth learning. I have lots of great reviews of my book, and you could really accelerate your learning if you invest some time reading this (or another) book. Learn to Write DAX - Excelerator BI
