Slow openning a WB with multiple WBs already openned - All with VBA

Hi,

At times I experience a long wait when openning a WB while more than one WB has been already openned . All the WBs with VBA. It take about 5 mins...

But if I only open one WB with no one openned, everything is normal, it take seconds only.

Can everyone share some light?

My guess is that Excel is recalculating the opened workbook?
I believe that Excel will then recalculate all open workbooks - more of a problem if they contain 'volatile functions' that will recalculate every time even if not affected by changes.
