Hi,

I have an excel spreadsheet containing about 1500 Developer Form control checkboxes running in Excel 2010. They seem to make every "change" in the sheet take about 5-6 seconds longer then the usual split second an action in excel should take. The file is 1.5 mb. The file has no links to other files, only internally.

I tried it in Excel 2007 and it worked perfectly there.

Do anyone now if this is a normal problem with 2010? Is there a way to fix it? Cant seem to find much by google..

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
maybe different spec computer? O_o

What do your controls do in the first place?
Maybe we could take a look and help you optimize it.

No, it should have nothing to do with the computer spec, tried it in 2007 on old 1.2 and new 2.4 ghz computer; works fine. Also tried it on slow/old and new/fast computer in 2010; works not fine.

The checkboxes are only for ticking if a job are to be done or not.

Any ideas? Is this a bug in 2010?
