Solver fails at first call

Hi,

I'm using Excel Solver to do some simple optimization. Each time I do a call through macros the Solver fails to fins a feasible solution (solver returning integer = 5). Then when I do another call with the same input, it works. It keeps on working fine as long as the Excel application is running.

Seems like something is happening during the initialization process.

BR,

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Thanks,, However, I'm already using the suggested code for handling Solver related problems from that very same site. It's this code that wants you to call the Auto_Open function prior to doing your first solver calculation. Please see your own answer on my previous Solver-thread! I'm really lost regarding this issue. And I'm even more lost since I know that everything's been working fine before. This code has been running without any reported problems since 2008. BR, perco
