Solving an equation using circular reference

Hello

Is there any way to solve an equation with a circular reference, for example 2x=3.
Of course I do not need it for this case, but I am looking for a process of automating more complicated cases.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
2x=3 is not circular.

You could set up the formula 2*A1 and then find what value of A1 would have a result of 3 using GoalSeek or Solver.
