i m using Excel 2003,
i have discovered some problems in filtering and i want to the solution for these and whether it is a problem or not
doing everything in filtering as follows:

1. i selected the range and press deleted button and i found that it also deleted the data from hidden rows which were not showing in filtering, does it really happen ?

2. when i select the range and copy it and paste it to another column , it doesn't work, it pastes to hidden rows also instead of pasting to the rows only which r showing in filtering.

3. if i select one cell and copy it then paste it to the range, will it create any problem ?

plz kindly tell me solution for the above problems and also share me the precautions which r important while working in filtering so that the date is not lost.

Thanks for co-operation as usual.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
After filtering, select the range, press F5, click Special, tick Visible cells only. Then you can delete or copy the visible cells.

One problem encountered in it.
it is not working perfectly for the first time, example
i select the range then tick visible cells only and copy it then when i paste it first time it copies hidden rows and immediately i press ctrl+z and again paste it then it pasted only visible cells, i repeat this task to verify it 10 time but same result, it doesn't work first time and it works for the 2nd time when i do ctrl+z and paste it
what is wrong here ? plz tell me
