I have a list of things I need to keep an eye on, these items are allocated a catagory letter in column E.
V=visit, P=Personal, M=Meeting, T=Task.
I've created buttons across the top of the sheet: Visit, Personal, Meeting & Task
I need a macro to assign to each button which will show only one particular catagory when pressed.
When I press the 'Visits' button, I only want to see the visit items on the list, the rest need to be hidden. The only other requirement is that all these are in date order, oldest being last on the list.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
I'd probably use Data-->Filter. Then record a macro for each of your criteria and assign it to its respective button.

Or you can get a bit more complicated, but only need one set of code by using Application.Caller and naming the buttons by their respective Filter criteria.
