Sorting a column that has Combo Boxes

Okay,

Last question of the day. I have a column that strictly contains combo boxes. The combo boxes are referenced to cells so that the options, let's say for simplicity sake, are: "a", "b", "c", "d" & "e".

Try as I may, I cannot get this column to sort properly. I even tried linking each individual combo box to the cell address where it resides (the ole right mouse click "format control" option) but that doesn't seem to work. I get very strange results -- but no ascending or descending order.

Has anybody any experience trying to sort a column with combo boxes?

Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated.

Thanks. jase.

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Jase - I don't think you can do this because of the fact that the cells are linked - you could easily replicate the linked cell values in an alternative column and then sort but I would imagine this is not your aim...
