sorting across multiple tabs

Hi, I have a simple spreadsheet that has headers at the top and 10 tabs with similar data on different companies. I have an " Active" column that I would like to create a main page to provide end users to sort by. I am a beginner when it comes to excel and can't figure out how to pull up data across the whole worksheet. need help! tsk
