Sorting latest dates in a pivot table

Is there any way that a pivot table can filter just the latest dates for a certain criteria. It seem pivot table can do everything apart from this.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Can you give more details? What do you mean by "just the latest dates"?

if you drag your date column into the pivot table and click on it you can chose which dates you want it to display.
