See below code used:

Sub sort_pivot()

Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Application.DisplayStatusBar = False

Sheets("Pivots").Select
Range("c6").Select
ActiveSheet.PivotTables("pivot#").PivotFields("field").AutoSort _
xlDescending, "Sum of ****", ActiveSheet.PivotTables( _
"pivot#").PivotColumnAxis.PivotLines(2), 1
Sheets("search").Select
Range("a1").Select
MsgBox "Sort Completed"

Application.DisplayStatusBar = True

End Sub

best regards,

Daniel

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hi Daniel, What do you mean by "the Pivot window hidden"? Is the worksheet hidden, or the rows, or is a different workbook active?
